Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and JAG US Logistix LLC, doing business as Hippix Logistix (USDOT 3979483), about using the Hippix website at hippixlogistix.app and the Hippix Driver app for iPhone and Android (together, “Hippix”). By signing in, you agree to them.

Accounts are created by Hippix Logistix for its staff, drivers and customers. A driver can also apply in the Hippix Driver app, and the account works once Hippix Logistix approves it. If you haul freight for Hippix Logistix under a separate agreement, such as an independent contractor or lease agreement, that agreement governs the work and your pay. These terms cover using the software, and where the two differ, your signed agreement wins.

How we handle your information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

• Keep your password to yourself and don’t let anyone else use your account.
• You are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
• Keep your contact details current, so dispatch can reach you.
• We can suspend or close an account that is misused, or when your work with Hippix Logistix ends.

Never read, type or tap in Hippix while you are driving. Pull over somewhere safe first. Federal rules prohibit texting and holding a mobile phone while driving a commercial motor vehicle (49 CFR 392.80 and 392.82), and many states restrict phone use for every driver.

• Hippix never asks you to answer while you are moving. If an offer runs out while you are driving, let it go.
• Once location sharing is on, it runs by itself. You don’t need to touch the phone for it to work.
• Your phone’s driving mode (Driving Focus on iPhone) can hold notifications until you stop.
• Update a load’s status, take photos and message dispatch when you are stopped.

Maps, routes, mileage, deadhead distances and arrival estimates in Hippix are estimates to help plan the work. Routes and directions are for cars, not trucks: they are not checked for low clearances, weight or length limits, hazmat restrictions or truck-prohibited roads. Always follow posted signs, traffic laws, your truck’s limits and the instructions of shippers and receivers, and plan your route with tools made for your vehicle.

• Answering an offer tells dispatch your price. A load is yours only when dispatch books it and it appears under your loads.
• Rates, mileage and pay shown before a load is booked can change, and pay shown in the app is an estimate until it is settled.
• What you record in Hippix (status, times, bill of lading numbers, piece counts, who signed, photos and documents) becomes part of the load record, so it has to be accurate.

• Hippix sends load offers and updates as notifications on your phone. You can turn them off in your phone’s settings, but you may miss offers.
• Messages with dispatch are part of your work record, and anyone on Hippix Logistix’s dispatch team can read them.
• Hippix does not send text messages (SMS) or make automated or prerecorded calls. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first, and you will be able to stop them at any time, for example by replying STOP.
• When you tap a phone number or a text link in Hippix, the call or text goes through your own phone and carrier, and your carrier’s normal charges apply. Hippix also uses your mobile data.

• Use Hippix for anything other than work with Hippix Logistix.
• Look at, copy or change information that isn’t meant for you, or try to get around the limits on what your account can see.
• Enter information you know is false, or upload anything unlawful, harmful or that you don’t have the right to share.
• Copy, scrape, resell or reverse-engineer Hippix, or interfere with how it runs.
• Share rates, broker contacts or other companies’ load details you see in Hippix, except as your work requires.

Documents, photos, messages and other information you add stay yours, but you let Hippix Logistix use them to run its business: dispatching and delivering freight, billing, paying drivers, keeping required records, and sharing paperwork such as proof of delivery with the customer or broker on that shipment. You confirm you have the right to share what you upload.

Hippix, its software and its content belong to JAG US Logistix LLC. While you have an account, you may use Hippix for your work with Hippix Logistix. That permission ends when your account is closed.

We work to keep Hippix running, but it can be unavailable, slow or wrong at times: phones lose signal, GPS can be inaccurate, and services we rely on can fail. We may change, add or remove features. Keep a way to reach dispatch by phone at 615-246-7779.

To the extent the law allows, Hippix is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, and Hippix Logistix is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from using Hippix, including losses caused by an estimate, a route, a delay in a notification or a service being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited, or anything in a separate agreement you have signed with Hippix Logistix.

You can ask us to close your account at any time; see Deleting your account. When an account closes, these terms stop applying to it, except the parts that by their nature continue, such as ownership, what you sent us, and the disclaimers and limits.

If these terms change, the date at the top changes too. If a change matters to how you use Hippix, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Hippix after that means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee and applicable federal law.
